Gluten-Free Breaded Chicken Nuggets, Patties and Tenders

Consumers suffering from gluten intolerance no longer need to do without their favorite foods. In response to increasing consumer demand for tasty gluten-free products, Golden Platter Foods introduced its line of gluten-free, fully cooked breaded chicken nuggets, patties, and tenders, at Natural Products Expo East in Baltimore, Maryland.

Made from all natural ingredients, the line is allergen-free and produced without the use of additives, hormones, or preservatives.  When heated, the crunchy coating provides the perfect balance to the tender farm fresh chicken.

Scott Bennett, President of Golden Platter Foods, believes the timing is right to introduce this product line to the market.  “According to market research, U.S. sales of gluten-free foods have more than doubled since 2005. As they learn more and more about their dietary restrictions, Gluten-intolerant consumers are demanding food that will satisfy their needs. Initial reaction from supermarket chain buyers has helped to confirm the huge opportunity that exists to satisfy the rapidly growing demand for tasty gluten free alternatives.”

Golden Platter Foods will produce this line for food service as well as for retail. The product will be available in 5 pound poly bags, four to a case, for sale to food service operators. Food service will require very tightly controlled handling to protect the gluten-free state of this product and avoid cross contamination.  The chicken contains 8 grams of fat and 16 grams of protein per each 3 ounce serving.

Golden Platter’s gluten-free chicken offerings carry the official seal of the Gluten-Free Certification Organization.
